    Near Eastern
    bronze socketed axe head, the but with four spiked projections,
    the blade with a curved edge that was never sharpened indicating votive or ritual use.
    the centre and beginning of the blade decorated with linear motif in relief.
    Origin:
    Circa 2nd to 1st Millennium B.C., Near East
    Dimensions:
    Length: 17.9 cm / Width 6.8 cm
    Condition:
    Heavily oxidised, in good condition.
    This piece is yet to be mounted,
    the mount in the images was only used to help with photography.
